Yoga is a means to find balance, strength and focus in body, mind, and spirit. It is a powerful method of keeping our bodies and minds healthy. Believed to have originated over 5,000 years ago (though there is some debate about that!), it utilizes mental focus and deep breathing while performing a series of physical movements (asanas).
There are numerous scientifically proven benefits to be found in yoga and it is a good foundation support for all sporting activity. The club offers children the chance to develop physical strength and balance, improve mental clarity, explore life aspirations along with learning strategies that help when dealing with challenging situations (exam stress, change, upsets), all in a fun, safe, collaborative and calming atmosphere.
